Occupation: Engineered Wood Products Sales Manager

After graduation, worked at Harry's Reliable Shoe Repair until going in the USAF, received many awards, the last being airman of the base @ RAF Alconbury, England, received an honorable discharge as an E-5 and extended my duty time.
Returned back to Newhall in 1972, became an electrical installer for Lockheed, Palmdale then went to an electrical supervisor. After getting laid off I went to work for McDonald Douglas, as an electrical mockup personnel, on the B-1 bomber. Great job and received and outstanding performance award from the Dept of the Navy for producing the electrical tool harness for production assembly, with the aid of another co-worker.
Finally discovered that the aircraft industry wasn't as dependable as I would like, so in 1976 I made my brake to northern California, and began work in the lumber business. Starting at the bottom as clean up I worked my way up after 11 years at the mill to the number 3 person in management. I then transferred into Medford, Oregon to go into sales for the same company. My employment ended after 16 years with the same company due to the spotted owl hoax! I then moved to Redding, California and worked for a former customer. Guess I was in demand, as another customer called to seek me in their company. I presently work for Western Woods Inc. and have been working there going on 13 years. I am the sales manager there for the engineered wood products department. Love my job and company. Still live in Redding, California and commute to Chico everday. Do lots of traveling with the company.
And that brings you up to date.
Of course lots has happened in my life most of it being GREAT!!!
And there you have it.
