I have lived in Eugene since 1975. After graduating I began working for Newhall Land & Farm as an asst to the vice president of public relations. That job led to meeting the Newhall family and I became the chief staff photographer for the Newhall Signal Newspaper till 1973. Becoming too crowded with the growth of the Newhall-Saugus area I packed everything I owned and headed North. I spent a short time in Mammoth Lakes as a ski bum/house painter with Glen Goodlett. Then it became clear to me that I had to get some direction in life and seek out a career. I went for a visit to Oregon and never came back. Using my skills from working for the Signal and Mr Abbot's graphic arts class at Hart, I started working for several print shops in the Eugene area. I met my wife Wendy in 1980 and we decided to open our own shop. It's been very gratifying owning my own business for 20 years. I added onto the shop 8 years ago and built two large slotcar tracks for club and hobby use. I also have a 10 inch SCT telescope with an observatory, these are my main hobby's, along with spoiling the grand kid's. As all us baby boomers are now pushing 60, health is my bigest concern. My creaking knee's won't allow me to Ski any more, but there are my family and hobbies to fall back on. Wendy and I attended the 20 year reunion and it was good to see my classmates again. We are not sure we will be at the 40th. It's too mind boggling to look at all the grey hair. Without the name tags I would be lost. At any rate keep in touch now that you have my e-mail and address.
