I was so surprised to hear from the reunion committee because I left Hart after my sophomore year to attend Westlake School for Girls, which is now Harvard-Westlake. However, I still live in Santa Clarita, so I see plenty of people from Hart High. As a matter of fact, I teach at Canyon High School with Dave Downs, another member of Hart '66. I've had a few of your children in my Spanish classes through the years, and now I'm getting some of your grandchildren. I think it may be time to retire!!! My husband Steve and I will be celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary this summer. We love spending time with our grandchildren and keep busy attending their many activities (sports and dance). Kids are way too involved these days! They come to Hawaii with us often, which is where you will find us during most school vacations. We have had a place there for the last 15 years, and it's the one place we can be and just totally relax and forget about the rest of the world!!!
